UC Emergency App

Get the information you need quickly and easily in case of an emergency situation. Stay informed, stay safe on campus.

The UC Emergency app delivers alerts and updates that can save lives and prevent injury. The app is one part of the university's emergency management plan and a big part of creating a safe and healthy living and learning environment for everyone on campus.

The only card you need on campus, Unicard is your official University of Calgary identification and access card.

Use your Unicard to check out books at the library, to access the gym and athletic facilities, as a transit pass for full-time students (with attached UPass sticker) and as a debit card for purchasing products and services on campus ranging from meals and Bookstore merchandise to printing and photocopying.

Submit your Unicard photo

Submit your Unicard photo online today and avoid the long lines in September.

Parking & Transportation Services

Parking & Transportation Services is your one-stop shop for all of your parking and transportation needs at the University of Calgary.

Parking permits are sold by lot, and are available to students on four or eight month semester basis. Prices and wait times vary by lot. Parking permits may be purchased online or in-person from the Parking and Transportation office (Olympic Volunteer Centre - North end of McMahon Stadium).

Meters and pay station lots are available for short-term parking at a variety of locations on campus and have both hourly and daily rates available.

More information on permit sale dates and other available services can be found online.

The Universal Pass Program (UPass) is a transit sticker applied to the Unicard that entitles full-time students access to transit services.

To be eligible you must be a full-time undergraduate, or graduate student and be registered in three courses (9 credits) for the applicable term.

The Fall UPass is available after August 29 and is valid starting on September 1. Visit the Tech Shop (MacEwan Student Centre, beside the Bookstore) to get your UPass sticker in September - or submit your Unicard photo online before August 19 and both your Unicard with affixed UPass will be available after August 23. If you submit your photo online, the Unicard Express Tent will be set up on the North side of the Dining Centre after August 23 to pick up your Unicard. Please note that you will need one piece of government issued photo ID in order to pick up your Unicard.
