Site Overview:

• Database Maintenance and Statistics are a BIG deal at BIG sites! So keeping the database garbage free is the job of custom built reports and scripts.
  • about 1.5 million bibliographic records

  • over 8 hundred thousand headings

  • over 1.5 million authority records

  • about 134 million unique keywords in the keyword indexes

  • over 20,000 monographic orders per year

  • over 12,000 serial orders

  • over 13,000 serial controls

  • over 240,000 bills in our bill database (historic and outstanding) etc. etc.

Loading of CIHM and Early English records. Record manipulation with tag stripping, and tag inputting has been done via PERL programs.
