Adam Cragg

As the Executive Director, Adam is responsible for helping students engage in entrepreneurship and for helping startups achieve scale. Adam runs the University’s innovation hubs, including the Life Science Innovation Hub, the Energy Transition Center, and the Social Innovation Hub. Adam oversees the University Innovation Quarter, an 80-acre innovation district adjacent to the main campus. Adam is a UCeed representative for the Haskayne Student Fund, the first student-run venture capital fund in western Canada.

During his career, Adam has invested in over 120 seed-stage startups and worked with entrepreneurs from some of the world’s top universities. During one quarter, he was the second most active seed-stage investor in female-founded companies. Adam was previously the Founding Manager of the New York University Entrepreneurship Lab and the Chief-of-Staff at the MIT Entrepreneurship Center.
