Admission

Prospective students wishing to enter the BFA Programs in Drama must meet the criteria in the section of this Calendar on A.2 “Admission Requirements” at the University of Calgary.

Limitation of Enrolment

Enrolment in the Department of Drama programs in Drama and Drama Education is limited. Therefore, not all qualified applicants may be admitted.

Applicants will be accepted on the basis of academic standing in high school and/or previous post-secondary education completed. An audition is not required for admission to the program.

Fields of Study Related to Drama Programs

Field of Drama

The Field of Drama consists of all courses labeled Drama DRAM.

Field of the Fine Arts

The broader Field of the Fine Arts consists of all course labeled Art ART, Art History ARHI, Dance DNCE, Drama DRAM, Fine Arts FINA, Music Education MUED, Music History and Literature MUHL, Music Performance MUPF, and Music Theory and Composition MUTC.
