University of Calgary Calendar 2022-2023 Tuition and General Fees P.2 Tuition and Fee Regulations P.2.12 Senior Citizens
P.2.12 Senior Citizens

The University of Calgary waives University of Calgary tuition fees related only to undergraduate, direct-entry bachelor’s level courses for senior citizens (excludes programs that require prior postsecondary education). A senior citizen must be 65 years of age or older by the first day of the term in which they are registered. Students are responsible for application fees, mandatory supplementary course fees (if applicable) and group study fees (if applicable).

Students will be assessed General Fees. If a student has health and dental coverage and wishes to opt out, they must submit the opt-out request by the fee payment deadline. Details are available at: mystudentplan.ca/uofcalgary/en/home. Part-time students are exempt from paying the Students' Union, Campus Recreation, and Athletic fees. If senior citizens wish to use any of these services, they must pay the required fees.
