A. FACULTY OF ARTS REQUIREMENTS
		
		Students must adhere to the applicable Faculty of Arts requirements in 3.3.1 Major Degree Programs. 
		
				B. MAJOR-FIELD REQUIREMENTS 
		
		Students must successfully complete a minimum of 45 units to a maximum of 60 units in Courses Constituting the Field of Anthropology while fulfilling the following requirements:
		
				- 
						Core: 15 units Anthropology 201, 203, 411, 490, Archaeology 201. 
- 
						Ethnography: 6 units from African Studies 301, Anthropology 320, 321, 323, 329, 355, 421*, 427*; Archaeology 345, 399, 419, 439, Global Development Studies 403. 
- 
						Upper-Year Courses: 6 units from Anthropology 400, 410, 421*, 427*, 441, 449, 467, 479, 501, 523, 541. 
- 
						
								Options: 18 units from Courses Constituting the Field of Anthropology.  
						*Anthropology 421 and 427 may not be used to satisfy both requirement 2 and requirement 3.
				
		
		
				C. DEGREE OPTIONS
		
		The BA in Social and Cultural Anthropology can be taken with Co-operative Education. See section 3.3.8 Co-operative Education Programs for information and requirements.
