A.8.1 Visiting Students

Visiting student status is available for students who are enrolled in a degree program at another post-secondary institution and wish to take courses at the University of Calgary. Visiting Students must complete the Visiting Student Application form available at ucalgary.ca/future-students/open-studies for each term they have approval from their home institution to take courses at the University of Calgary and must present:

  1. A letter of permission from their home institution indicating the specific courses approved to take and the term(s) approved to attend the University of Calgary.
  2. A copy of their home institution transcript.
  3. Evidence of satisfying English Language Proficiency requirements (if applicable).
  4. Pay the non-refundable application fee (see A.4.2).
