Students' Development of Nature of Science Understandings

Summary

In order to help students become more scientifically literate, teaching strategies have to emphasize both the 'what' of science (the content) and also the 'how' of science (the process). We are doing this in GLGY 209. The researcher wants to understand how the particular teaching strategies helps students to understand how science works in a way that will help them to make better decisions in the future where science plays a part.
