Sequential evaluation of the microbiome in patients with cervical cancer treated with chemoradiotherapy

Summary

This study will evaluate the microbiome (bacterial population) in both the tumour and the patient, to determine the numbers and types of bacteria present and to see whether this influences immune status and/or the patient's response to their treatment. We will be collecting stool, urine and blood before, during and after treatment, as well as testing the pre-treatment tumour.
