Learn more about the development of UCalgary’s Indigenous strategy

Your input matters to us: Indigenous Strategy development at UCalgary

In line with the foundational goals of our Eyes High strategy, the University of Calgary is in the process of developing an Indigenous strategy. UCalgary is committed to creating a rich, vibrant and culturally competent campus – one that welcomes and supports Indigenous learners, is inclusive of Indigenous perspectives in teaching and learning, encourages Indigenous community partnerships in research and academic programming and is appropriate and thoughtful in its response to the Truth and Reconciliation calls for action.

In order to assist with the development of our Indigenous Strategy, the university is seeking input from various community stakeholders – including the campus community – through a series of community-based dialogues as well as an online survey. If you’re interested in contributing to the development of the Strategy, visit ucalgary.ca/indigenous-strategy for more information.

Please note: We would like to engage University of Calgary Indigenous faculty and staff in strategic focus group dialogues that will contribute to the development of the Indigenous Strategy. If you self-identify as an Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) faculty or staff member of the University of Calgary and are interested in participating in a focus group, please email us at gatheringstories@ucalgary.ca
