The requestor, ITS and the department responsible for the database(s) being queried by the report MUST be aware of the report and the procedures used by the department responsible for generating the databse(s) being queried by the report so that accurate programs and criteria and output can be generated without any faulty assumptions. As procedures change, all three parties must be informed so that requests can be modified, reports modified or changed completely.

IMPORTANT CRITERIA:
- ITS must enter the criteria carefully to ensure that only the expected users group is actually edited.
- ITS should run the report in TEST mode first so that the list of users can be reviewed to ensure that the targetted group has been actually gathered before the UPDATE mode of the report is run.
- Useredit is a custom report variation on Sirsi's edituser. It allows for editing of Category 1, Category 2, Department or Profile.
- Usereditacces is a custom report which only allows for the editing of a user's User Access code.
- Sirsi's edituser report can be used to edit a user's Category1, Category2, Department, Profile, Mailing Address, or Birth Year.
