A Ph.D. candidate who has been working under the supervision of Prof. Uttandaraman Sundararaj since 2015. The main focus of her research is about polymer nanocomposites based electrochemical nanobiosensors to detect dopamine biomolecules, for molecular diagnosis of neurological illnesses such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Schizophrenia. She also works on multiple projects on synthesis of carbon nanostructures, and their applications in multifunctional conductive polymer nanocomposites for EMI shielding and dielectric properties. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Polymer engineering and Coating Technology from Amirkabir University of technology (Tehran polytechnic). She accomplished her M.Sc. thesis on mechanical, tribiological properties, and scratch resistance of poly(urethane acrylate) nanocomposites for clear coatings applications on plastic and metal substrates used in automotive industry.
