Spring/Summer Residence Event Series

We're heading to Drumheller for a day to explore the Royal Tyrrell Museum and the Alberta Badlands!

You must be a current resident living on campus to attend.

Registration deadline is June 16, 2025. Registration is first come first serve. The first 44 registrations will be offered a spot to attend.

Those who are not in the first 44 registrations will be added to a wait list. If a participant is unable to attend, the first person on the wait list will fill that spot, and will receive an email with further information.

Payment information

Ticket cost: $15

Limited tickets available. After registering for the event, registrants will see a $15 charge on their Residence account.

Timeline for the day

Meet at International House at 8:00 a.m. on June 21, 2025. Bus loading begins at 8:15 a.m. at International House. The bus will depart International House at 8:30 a.m. and arrive at the Royal Tyrrell Museum at 10:30 a.m.

10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Explore the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology.

12:30 p.m. - Leave museum and drive to the World’s Largest Dinosaur and then arrive downtown for lunch.
• There are lots of dining options within walking distance

1:45 p.m. - Meet at the bus to drive to the Badlands to explore the Willow Creek Hoodoos.

The bus will depart at 2:30 p.m. back to Calgary and arrive at International House at 4:30 p.m.
