The University of Calgary offers more than $12 million in scholarships and bursaries to new students entering the university and those continuing in their studies. The generous financial support comes from a wide range of donors, enabling the university to recognize outstanding students and the contributions they make to academic life on campus.

Offered annually to continuing undergraduate students in the Department of Biological Sciences in the Faculty of Science. Award Value: Up to $7,000. Number of Awards: 2

E.G. Coombe Family Bursary in Chemistry

Offered annually to continuing undergraduate students in a Chemistry major or Chemistry Honours program. Award Value: Up to $3,500. Number of Awards: 2

Don S Bidulock Scholarship in Computer Science

Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science majoring in Computer Science. Award Value: Up to $5,000. Number of Awards: 2

M. Jean Gorrell Memorial Scholarship in Geoscience

Offered annually to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science majoring in Geology or Geophysics. Award Value: Up to $5,000. Number of Awards: 1

Dr. Ranjit S. Dhaliwal Scholarship in Mathematics and Statistics

Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science majoring in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or General Mathematics. Award Value: Up to $5,700. Number of Awards: 1

Dr. David John Fry Scholarship in Physics and Astronomy

Offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science majoring in Physics or Astrophysics. Award Value: Up to $2,500. Number of Awards: 1
