Residence Ski Trip

Registration and payment information 

You must be a current resident student living on campus to attend. This event is not open to non-resident students. 

The price for the event is $90 which includes the ski ticket and transportation. The cost does not include any equipment nor food. 

Registration is first come first serve for 155 spots. Head to the Resident Portal to register and pay. Note: payment must be made in order to be successfully registered. 

Timeline for the day of the trip (February 28th):

•  Bus loading starts at 6:00 a.m. Estimated time of arrival at Sunshine Village Ski Resort is 8:00 a.m.
• The bus will leave Sunshine Village Ski Resort at 4:30 p.m. and estimated arrival back on campus at 6:00 p.m.

*Note: all Residents must sign a waiver on the day of the ski trip to participate. Waivers will be provided upon arrival to the bus in the morning.

Rentals

As Residence Services will not be providing any equipment for the ski trip, we recommend visiting the Outdoor Centre to rent your equipment if you don't have your own.

Whether your skiing or snowboarding, the Outdoor Centre has you covered. Get your skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and goggles all in one place. Plus, as a Residence student, you have a $25 credit to use towards rentals! This is the perfect opportunity to cash that in! Renting through the Outdoor Centre is an affordable and convenient option. Walk-up rentals are not available and must be pre-booked online.

Lessons

Ski and snowboard lessons are not included in the registration cost. If you would like to participate in lessons, you will need to coordinate with Sunshine Village Ski Resort. Click here for more information on lessons.
