Research Subjects
- assessment of the number of gates for the NLA for both new and existing facilities
- evaluation of the best terminal configuration, to minimize the overall cost of the terminal when the terminal is planned to accommodate the NLA
- determination of the optimal size of the passenger departure lounge, as well as evaluation of the possible methods of boarding (one/two bridges; one/two floors)
- determination of the best configuration and the optimal size for the baggage claim area
- assessment of the impact on the check-in area, security check, customs, baggage handling system, and curb side
