Biography
“I can and I will” - Edward Hale
Beyond strong academics, I figure skated for 2 years on Team Canada's synchronized figure skating team. Committing significant time to train as an elite athlete has led me to hone my time management skills so that I can successfully balance a busy schedule. In 2020, I created a food blog (@freshandflavourful), and am excited to continue sharing my recipes and tips on healthy eating. I am an executive member of the UC Baking Club and I am excited to bake for UCalgary students and the surrounding community this year. I am dedicated to helping others live well, and share my joy of skating by running a free learn to skate program that benefits disadvantaged kids socially, emotionally, and physically. As a UofC Science Ambassador, I hope to cultivate and support champions of science. Further, as a PSYCHS executive, I help run events to foster a sense of community among psychology (and non psychology!) students.
