The Faculty of Graduate Studies has partnered with multiple organizations on and off campus to provide you with information about a wide range of valuable resources, workshops, courses and activities in a single location. Grad students, we want to help you succeed.

Our workshops are endorsed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies to be both academically sound and incredibly useful. They will build skills that you need now and that you'll need in your future career.

Three-day development event May 2-4 features keynote on building connections by Werklund prof Michele Jacobsen

Graduate student finalists from the 2017 3MT competition overcame nerves to develop communication skills and give engaging research talks

Aprami Jaggi, Geoscience, took home the first place prize at UCalgary 2017. Nancy Adam, Medicine – Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, came in second place. Cynthia Kahl, Medicine – Neuroscience, received third place and people's choice.

Ten graduate students speak about their research in Wednesday’s Three Minute Thesis Finals. Everyone is welcome to attend this public event, April 5, 2017, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the Rosza Centre.
