Research

Areas of Research

Interests

To understand the relationship between parasite infections and lower incidence of inflammation by studying the energy requirements of immune system cells during inflammation.

Current Research

To explore the role of helminth components in modulating the immunometabolism of immune cells to promote inflammation resolution in inflammatory conditions.

  • Helmith modulation of bioenergetics of myeloid cells
  • Metabolic kinetics of neutrophils during inflammatory responses
