The cheapest place to buy scrubs with considerable selection is Marks Work Wearhouse.  A set of scrubs starts at $30 a set.  Wal-Mart is another wallet friendly alternative, however their selection is smaller.  Uniforms By Karen and Vogue Uniforms sell nice nursing uniforms at affordable prices, with a student discount when you show your student ID card.  Uniforms by Karen is located in the Stadium Shopping Centre near the Foothills hospital call (403) 289-9330 for more info.  Vogue uniforms is located at 4618 MacLeod Trail SW, call (403) 287-1323 for more info.  Med threads is another store to look for uniforms, located at 7138 Fisher Street SE, (403) 640-2133.
