All counseling is confidential and will only be released with permission or in very rare circumstances required by law

The counseling centre operates on a brief counseling model, work toward a solution to your concern in as few sessions as possible
|
|
There are counselors available to students, for personal, career and academic issues. Appointments can be booked or there is drop in on a first come first serve basis
|
|
Late arrivals for appointments (15 mins or more) will be rescheduled
|
|
Students (individual or couple) are allowed 3 free sessions, of 50 mins sessions except for the first one as this one is brief to understand your needs.
|
|
After the 3 free sessions there is a charge of $25 (individual or couple) but the students union benefit plan will cover most of the charge once you hand in the receipts you will get reimbursed
|
|
There are also workshops available to registered students for personal, career and academics issues throughout the fall and winter semesters. Dates, registration and fees are available on the website
|
|
Payments are to be made at the beginning of each appointment. Cash, personal cheque, visa, MC or debit are the methods of payment accepted
|
|
There is a fee waiver to students with financial hardship
|
