Facility Integrity – A Management Perspective

Abstract:

This presentation is based on the paper titled “Facility Integrity – A Management Perspective” which was presented at the 2006 International Pipeline Conference. It is attached to this meeting notice.

About the Speaker:

Tom Morrison has over 25 years experience applying statistical and mathematical methodologies to issues in the petroleum industry.

His experience includes risk analyses of corrosion issues on pipelines, corrosion growth modelling, environmental design criteria and estimation of measuring tool accuracy.  His wide studies have been prepared for exploration arms of petroleum companies, major pipeline companies and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.

His contribution to the current presentation is the documentation of methods that can be used to track success in the implementation of a program to reduce the number of leaks at facilities incorporated in a pipeline system.

Tom has an M.Sc. in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Alberta.
