Webinar - MapleSoft Mathematical Software
Company
TOPIC
Maple 11 - Global Optimization Toolkit
Abstract:
MapleSoft, of Waterloo, ON, has
prepared a Webinar for the March 15th meeting of CORS-Calgary. Maple’s
mathematical composition and analysis software is being updated and expanded
with a new release this month, release 11. The focus we’ve requested for our
Webinar is on uses of their “Global Optimization Toolkit,” which is aimed at
solutions of multiple optimum problems. Some examples from areas of manufacturing,
transportation and risk management were requested but the Webinar is a live
conversation so we might change tack depending on participant’s suggestions and
questions. Please take this opportunity to come out and have a leading
math-package maker show us what their new product can do for some of the
tougher OR optimization problems.
About
the Presenters:
On their
web site, http://www.maplesoft.com, you can
find information on their basic software and related packages as well as

practitioners.
