TOPIC

Optimizing the “Utility Return” in Complex Projects:

Getting the Most Out of Projects, Before They’re Finished.

Abstract:

This presentation will describe the theory and application of a new project scheduling methodology.  First conceived of here in Calgary, this technique has been used to plan for optimized early returns in complex projects.  The utility of individual project “tasks” are quantified in terms that are most relevant to the organizations involved.  This straightforward process, when used to achieve increased profitability and benefit, adds a new dimension to the science (or art) of project management.
