About:

Between Friends provides quality social and recreational opportunities focusing on children and adults with disabilities.

Services include: 

  • Inclusive Community Activities with No Barriers; recreation activities like Zumba, hip hop, swimming, pottery, badminton, drawing, ballet, and summer camps.
  • Weekend and Evening Social Opportunities and Recreation: activities like swimming, bowling, dancing, or dinner and a movie.
  • Camp Bonaventure; day camps for children and youth with or without disabilities from the ages of 4 – 17 with the chance to try horseback riding, canoeing, sailing, wall climbing, golf, and swimming.
  • Camp Fun’zAmust; a residential camp available to children and youth with or without a disability from the ages of 7 – 17. During a weeklong stay at Camp Fun’zAmust, participants will experience high/low ropes challenge courses, the giant swing, archery, tipi camping, hiking and backpacking, environmental arts and crafts, nature games, river rafting and more outdoor activities.
  • Adventurers; group for young adults, they go on trips to the country, Stampede, overnight camping, and more.
