About:

Aventa is the leader in the Province of Alberta in providing trauma informed, gender-specific, concurrent capable, live-in addiction treatment services for women.

Services:

• pre-treatment (priority goes to pregnant women)
• phase II: six week program (individual and group counselling)
• phase III: three month residential treatment program
• Young Adult Treatment
  • 90 day residential addiction treatment planning
  • specialized for women 18-24 years
• Quit & Stay Quit-smoking cessation 
• Parenting Program 
• Financial literacy program 
• Gambling Treatment Program 
• Continuing Care Program 
• Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous (ABA) 
• Al-Anon (program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking) 
• Fitness and recreation services
• Medical and psychiatric services
• AA Meetings

Programs are for women only, especially women with a history of trauma, violence or abuse.
