Welcome Centre
Are you an incoming student that's new to Calgary? Whether from another country or another province, the Welcome Centre (MSC 275) is here to help you feel at home in Calgary and on campus.
Hours of operation
The Welcome Centre will be open weekdays from August 24-28, and 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 30-minute drop-in group checklist sessions will start daily* at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
*There will be no afternoon check-list sessions on Thursday, August 27, due to New Student Orientation. If you are an undergraduate student, register for NSO here.
About us
The Welcome Centre is the place for new-to-Calgary students to ask questions about life on campus and in Calgary. Through 30-minute group sessions, students will go through the New Student Checklist and learn more about the necessary settlement tasks as a new Calgary resident, available resources on campus, and more!
