Tea Talks are casual, low-key conversations facilitated by Scholars Academy students for a First Year Scholars audience. This is an opportunity for First Year Scholars to engage in discussion about anything and everything outside the classroom with their peers over tea and light refreshments. Facilitators will decide on topics and can range from relevant news, politics, pop culture, and more. This is a space for ideas to be heard, shared, supported, and even questioned or challenged constructively. Facilitators are responsible to provide supporting material for their discussion, which includes but is not limited to journal or news articles, podcast episodes, and video clips.
There are three sets of talks that run throughout the year in December, February, and March.
