Biography

“The only journey is the journey within.” – Rainer Maria Rilke.

My journey to discover my interests started during my boarding school days. This experience brought along many challenges, but left me with a lot. Most importantly it enabled me to discover my passion to become a psychologist. I listened to many personal stories from my peers in boarding house, talked about struggles with people of different age groups during volunteering activities that I was part, and heard different perspectives about life while I was working as academic trainer. All these experiences showed me how each individual is unique, how each of us have different struggles to overcome, and how most of us are fighting to accept our uniqueness. I realised that I want to be part of such journeys and bring some good to others. I mingled this with my fascination to study human mind, thus decided to take up psychology as my career path.

I have been part of many volunteering drives, leadership roles during my schools days, recently I worked with a village in India for it’s sustainable development and also volunteered to help daily wage earner during lockdown. Apart from volunteering, I love cooking, doing art, and spending time in nature. I am also inclined towards designing. Anything that involves artistry interests me a lot.
