Biography

“Enthusiastic about social enterprise and its role in commerce."

Originally from Kenya, Leonne has spent the majority of his life in Canada. His early interest in social advocacy would eventually lead him to the Mayor’s Youth Council in 2017 where he developed annual programming for the city’s youth alongside the Mayor’s office. Leonne is continuing his advocacy work as part of the African and Caribbean Students’ Association at the University of Calgary.

Leonne’s participation in international case competitions including the Milgard Invitational Case Competition on Corporate Social Responsibility has reinforced his position on the role of businesses in an evolving world. His current interests lie in social enterprise and management consulting. Currently, Leonne is a teaching assistant at the Haskayne School of Business.

Leonne will be interning at Bain & Company as a BEL intern this summer.

Outside of university, Leonne is an avid swimmer and sports enthusiast.
