Brian Choi

Biography

Coming from an immigrant background, I have personally dealt with the shortcomings of the healthcare system to provide quality care for minority populations, specifically with translation services. The Bachelor of Health Sciences program interested me as a means to research and address health inequities in immigrant populations.

Outside of school, I have been volunteering with underrepresented populations and have joined advisory councils to tackle health issues within my local community.

In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey, badminton, and going on walks with my dog. If I am not outside, I am most likely watching a movie or catching up on my favourite TV shows!
