Biography

I immigrated to Calgary around 10 years ago from the far east of Russia, but I was fortunate to have been supported along every step of my immigration journey. I volunteer to give back to the Calgary community that welcomed me with open arms, and to empower immigrant youth who may not have had the same opportunities as myself.

Outside of academics, I enjoy reading science fiction and my favourite author is Kurt Vonnegut. Feel free to reach out to talk about books!
