Meet Jeff
Jeff Stransky is the Student Ombuds at the University of Calgary. Jeff has supported university students in a variety of roles for several years and his top priority as Student Ombuds is to be a sounding board for students needing to discuss complex and often difficult situations encountered in their time as UCalgary students.
All conversations with the Student Ombuds Office are private and confidential. Jeff works hard to maintain neutrality in the Student Ombuds role.
If you... feel that you have been treated unfairly; find yourself in a conflict; need help navigating a university policy, procedure or regulation or are in a difficult situation and don’t know where to go for help - Jeff might be a good place to start.
