Head out of the city for an amazing weekend of fun at Alberta Pioneer Lodge, deepen your understanding of leadership through an Indigenous and oral story telling-based lens, focus on designing your university experience, and enjoy outdoor adventure activities like snowshoeing, skating, and more! And of course, no session of Camp LEAD is complete without a bonfire and s’mores.

At Camp LEAD, you’ll have the chance to think about designing your university experience and beyond, and to engage in meaningful learning about leadership and storytelling through an Indigenous lens.

What can I expect? From learning about Indigenous Ways of Knowing, oral storytelling, and programming inspired by Stanford’s Life Design work for university students, Camp LEAD is a great way for you to connect, make meaning of your experiences and think about your next steps at UCalgary and beyond. At this Winter session of Camp LEAD, you'll also enjoy a bonfire under the stars and s’mores.
