Days of Service

The Days of Service are single day programs where you and your peers can volunteer your time at a community organization in Calgary. Please note that Days of Service will be moved to an online format for the 2020-2021 school year.

Applications are now being accepted for our November 9 session. Please apply below.

Update: Because of COVID-19 concerns, Days of Service programming during Fall Orientation will be moved online. Please register if you would like to be contacted with updated information about Days of Service offerings.

Days of Service

Days of Service is a chance for students to engage with not-for-profit organizations in Calgary in a meaningful way. Students work on improving personal development and intercommunication skills by learning about a variety of social welfare organizations.

No more applications will be accepted for the September session. Now, applications will be counted toward virtual Days of Service events beginning on November 9. For up to date information, be sure to check this webpage.

Tzedakah-Sadaqah*: A Series of Intercultural Service Project

Join the Faith & Spirituality Centre in partnership with the Leadership and Student Engagement office as we explore what “service” means. We collaborate with various religious and spiritual communities in Calgary and offer a diverse range of educational workshops, organized volunteer opportunities and critical reflections/debriefs. Our first Tzedakah-Sadaqah event will take place in November 2020. Follow us on our social media or subscribe to our newsletter for up to date information.
