Students Construction Community Engagement

Community Engagement

We want you to feel inspired, engaged and empowered to act within your community. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking to get involved, we offer programs from short-term, local service projects in Calgary to intensive explorations of social issues through ucalgarycares at home, in Toronto, Costa Rica and the Yukon.

Spring and Summer Programs

After finishing your Winter term, switch gears to immerse yourself in learning about culture and community development in rural Costa Rica, Global Citizenship in Calgary, or Indigenous leadership and ways of knowing in the Yukon, while developing a new network of peers committed to making a difference.
