The Facilitators will focus on presenting Student Success Seminars and will help monitor the SSC Study Space. The Student Service peers represent the front line of the Student Success Centre, providing customer service and important information to students using SSC resources.
The Academic Advising Peer Helpers will conduct intake appointments and help connect students with advisors and resources.
In all roles, Peer Helpers will work with SSC staff on projects as needed, as well as have the opportunity to present seminars about academic strategies and study skills at SSC events such as My First Six Weeks in September and W2RAP Up in November and April.
The Student Success Centre strives to create a learning environment for the Academic Support Peer Helpers. Peers will have the opportunity to perform all functions as the schedule allows; however, peers will primarily perform functions of their designated role.
