Whether you're an undergraduate, graduate, international, or open studies student, the Student Success Centre will help you pursue your academic goals while expanding your learning opportunities.

Current News

Kick off your summer of productive research and writing by attending Grad Success Week from May 2-4, three days’ worth of seminars and panels designed to help you meet the unique challenges of grad school. Enjoy a free breakfast on Day 1 and lunch on Day 2, attend the keynote address, hear from the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, network with your peers, and hear from faculty about how to get published.  You will also learn how to better manage your research, maintain your motivation over the long haul, and enhance your presentation skills.

Are you an Open Studies student or interested in gaining support selecting a major? Our Academic Advisor - Majors Exploration will be offering drop-in appointments in addition to regularly scheduled appointments.

Drop-in Advising:

In-person advising will be available in the Student Success Centre, 3rd floor, Taylor Family Digital Library, during the following hours:

Tired of writing your thesis alone? Join the Graduate Writing Community for twice-weekly sessions in a sunny space on the 3rd floor of the TFDL. During the first half hour of each three-hour session, enjoy conversations with grad coaches, grad students, and the occasional faculty member about the writing process and its challenges. In the last hour, feel free to break off for some one-on-one writing support with a Student Success Centre writing tutor. In between, set a writing goal and draw on the collective energy of your fellow students as you motor towards completion!
