A small group of members of the Retirees Association has begun discussions about forming a Special Interest Group to explore Travel topics of mutual interest. Monthly sessions could include sharing about interesting trips that have been taken, planned, or dreamed about by members or guest speakers. There could be sharing about particularly attractive group tours and rate reductions like those available through CARP. Trips might be organized by the group ranging Special Interest Group: Travel from local walks and tours to custom made travel to distant locales. An early activity of the group could be to form a database of travel experiences of members of the Emeritus Association from which travel ideas could be drawn.
