Tuition Reinvestment Bursaries
The Tuition Reinvestment Bursary is designed to help students with demonstrated financial need.
This bursary program is funded by tuition fees paid by undergraduate, professional program and graduate students.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a bursary, you must be able to demonstrate financial need while also meeting the academic requirements.
Academic requirements
The Tuition Reinvestment Bursary is for all full-time students: undergraduate students, professional students and graduate students.
Undergraduate (continuing) students
- You must have a GPA of at least 2.00 in 18 units completed of fall 2021 and winter 2022.
- You must be registered full-time in both the fall and winter terms, at least 9 units per term.
Undergraduate (entering) students
- You must have entered the University of Calgary with an admission average of at least 65%.
- You must be registered full-time in both the fall and winter terms, at least 9 units per term.
Professional program students
- You must be in good standing as defined by your faculty.
- You must be registered full-time in both the fall and winter terms.
Graduates students
- You must be in good standing as defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
- You must be registered full-time in both the fall and winter terms.
Funding Limits
There is a limit to the amount of bursary funding you can receive per year (September – August):
- Up to $1,500
- Amount awarded will be determined based on amount of financial need
Deadlines
- Fall 2022: November 15, 2022
- Winter 2023: March 15, 2023
