Biography

Christian Bagshaw is graduating with Bachelor of Science (honours) degree in pure mathematics. He has dedicated his summers to research in the field of number theory, leading him to develop techniques to construct imaginary quadratic number fields with high p-rank. His time at the University of Calgary has also allowed Christian to explore his love of teaching and sharing the beauty of mathematics with others, which he says makes him feel most himself. Christian is excited to begin a PhD in pure mathematics at the University of New South Wales this fall in preparation for a career in teaching.
