Tuition fees for international undergraduate students

To help international students plan for their education costs, this page outlines the tuition fees for 2020-2021 through to 2023-2024.

Note: This information applies to student admitted to the Fall 2020 term.  Students will receive and email with specific information about their program costs.

  1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Tuition rates are calculated on 18 units per term (six 3-unit courses), or a maximum of 36 units for the fall and winter terms. Some engineering specializations require fewer units to complete degree requirements. For these programs, the total tuition fees will be lower. Courses taken outside of the Schulich School of Engineering may have a different rate. In these cases, the appropriate faculty tuition rate will be applied.

    Combined programs

Combined programs require a minimum of 150 units over a 5-year period (30 units per year).  The tuition rate specific to the program in which the courses are taken will be applied. To help you determine the appropriate rates, please see the per course rates.

You will receive an email indicating the total costs for each degree you have been admitted to. You will only be required to pay for the additional units required to complete the combined degree, not the full cost of both degree programs.
