A.9.1 Visiting Students

Visiting student status is available for students who are enrolled in a degree program at another post-secondary institution and wish to take courses at the University of Calgary. Visiting Students must complete the Visiting Student Application form available at for each term they have approval from their home institution to take courses at the University of Calgary and must present:

  1. A letter of permission from their home institution indicating the specific courses approved to take and the term(s) approved to attend the University of Calgary.
  2. A copy of their home institution transcript.
  3. Evidence of satisfying English Language Proficiency requirements (if applicable).
  4. Pay the non-refundable application fee (see A.4.2).
