Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric disorder that can occur in patients who experience or witness traumatic events. Despite the prevalence of PTSD in the general population, there is no complete neuropsychological profile for PTSD. The objective of our research is to determine the extent and nature of cognitive impairment in patients with diagnosed PTSD. Our research could the improve mental health of Canadians men and women suffering from PTSD.
