V.111 Release Notes

Last night we released V.111 of the UCalgary Web System. Check out the release notes for more information!

What’s Fixed?

Bugs and issues that were resolved in the latest release.

  • SAML login issue: The 403 error when logging into Drupal has been resolved in this release.
  • Content Migration: Performance improvements were made to the content migration script this sprint, along with a fix to resolve a .php error.
  • News Content Filters: Various filters were missing on the content screen in the news system (audience, teams, tags, dates, etc.) and were re-added during this release. 
  • Cookie notice navigation: Improvements were made to the cookie notice for keyboard navigation.
  • Multiday events display in feed: Event dates were not showing the date for the upcoming occurrence for reoccurring and multi-day events.
  • Page titles in browser tabs: The page title was not appearing in browser tabs as expected for sub-sites. This has been resolved so the correct page title appears in browser tabs.
  • Webform styling bug: A blue border was being inserted into the scale element on webforms as was removed as part of this release.  
  • Webform confirmation page aliasing issue (www.ucalgary.ca): Webform confirmation pages on www.ucalgary.ca were producing 404 errors due to a URL aliasing issue. Some configurations for this feature were updated to ensure custom confirmation pages work as expected.

What’s New?

New features, block enhancements, and system updates from the latest release.  

  • Mini Hero CTA: A new Hero CTA display option has been added to the system based on the Legacy Hero CTA for a non-full bleed image option. 
  • Pagination hover state: The hover state has been updated on pagination elements (found on profile list, page filter, table blocks, etc.).
  • ‘Do not publish’ in profiles: Permissions were updated for the ‘Do not publish” checkbox in profile page authoring so that only Support roles are able to indicate this on profile pages. This feature is intended for individuals who have severe security concerns around publicly displayed information and can be requested through ServiceNow.
