Volunteer for Campus Fair

The Roman Gladiators are always a popular attraction at Campus Fair.

The Roman Gladiators are always a popular attraction at Campus Fair.
On June 6, the University of Calgary is hosting the seventh annual Campus Fair. Campus Fair is one of the largest and most successful community events the university holds each year. The University of Calgary knows that inspiring children to think about post-secondary education is vital and we want to share the exciting work we do with fellow Calgarians. Adults and children alike get to enjoy a day of discovery, fun and entertainment.

Last year Campus Fair displayed over 60 interactive exhibits and over 8,000 people were in attendance. This year we will continue to feature some of our most exciting and popular exhibits, along with new activities and entertainers to peak the interest of visitors, all in a fun, festival-style atmosphere.

We are once again looking for volunteers to help with Guest Relations on event-day. Volunteer positions include:

  • Guest Relations tent hosts
  • Campus Hosts
  • Entertainment and Catering Hosts
  • Runners and General Support
  • Parking lot greeters

An event like Campus Fair is only possible with a lot of creativity, passion and the support of volunteers from the University community.

Free lunch, refreshments, t-shirts and parking will provided on event day. If you would like to volunteer for Campus Fair or if you have any questions or concerns, call 403-210-8559 or email  cfvols@ucalgary.ca.
