Lecture of a Lifetime: Professor Allan Bell captivates audience with music

UToday HomeMay 17, 2013

It’s easy to understand why Professor Allan Gordon Bell has received numerous teaching awards during his career at the University of Calgary. The instructor and researcher in the Department of Music captivated the crowd gathered for his 2013 Lecture of a Lifetime ― Giants and Rivers ― with his words and his music.

The Lecture of a Lifetime is an annual University of Calgary Senate event designed to showcase the university’s top educators.

The story and flow of the sixth 2013 Lecture of a Lifetime is captured in the featured slide show (photos by Jae Im).  A video of the event will be available soon from NUTV.
