Nominations for the 8th annual U Make a Difference awards are being accepted until Mar. 20.

These annual peer-based awards are recognition by the university community of the exceptional contributions of individuals on campus.

Nominees can be recognized for demonstrating the core values identified in the Eyes High strategic direction, and for excellence in leadership, positive work environment, client experience, and student experience/learning environment.

All students are invited to nominate any faculty and staff who have made a positive impact on their university experience including those who have enriched the quality and breadth of learning, demonstrated a regard for student well-being, and helped to promote a positive student experience.

Anyone currently employed by the University of Calgary can be nominated, including graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. You do not have to work directly with the nominee to recognize their efforts and contributions. Students are also welcome to nominate faculty and staff who have made a difference to their academic experience.
