Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to enter campus via the main entrance, but signs will direct other traffic into the University Way loop by alternate routes. Buses will continue to stop at their usual places in the loop.

If you have questions about safety, please contact Campus Security at 403.220.5333 or campus.security@ucalgary.ca.

Visit Entrance Arch Renewal at Campus Planning for more about what is happening with the arch.

The renewal of the arch is the first stage in the university’s wayfinding project. It was initiated by the Students’ Union commitment of funding through the Quality Money program to refurbish and beautify the main entry at University Drive and 24th Avenue.
