As the University of Calgary works towards its priorities—student success, high-quality research and scholarship, and return to community—input and feedback from students, faculty and staff is essential. The campus community can continue to shape the future of the university by contributing to a number of crucial processes and decisions over the next few months.   

The advisory search committees for deans of education, environmental design and nursing are inviting nominations and submissions from faculty and staff about the leadership needs of these faculties in the coming years (see:

President Harvey Weingarten and Alan Harrison, provost and vice-president (academic), have initiated a discussion about an optimal administrative structure for arts-related work at the university. The discussion process includes meetings with the faculty councils of each of the four arts-related faculties. 

Dr. Rose Goldstein, vice-president (research), and the provost are refreshing and realigning the university’s academic and strategic research plans. As part of that process, they are consulting with students, faculty and staff about the plans (see:
